So this week I've been in Japan. Yesterday I went to kendo with my fiance (he does it, I just watch in amazement) and I met the future champion of kendo for the whole entire world, Asa.
Asa-chan is barely over a year old but every Saturday she goes to the dojo with her parents who are both ranked go-dan. She practically owns everyone in the dojo. It'll be interesting to see what happens to the boys she dates.
Even more interesting though is that Asa's name means "morning", but this morning she was so grumpy! "Morning" is not a morning person. I like her. *grins* |
